Plants Lobelia Very

Plants Lobelia Very
today i got a 70 litre aquarium?

i have set up my 70 litre clear seal aquarium with flourescent lighting, an elite stingray filter, an elite 802 air pump which i have set up with 2 air stones, a visi-therm heater and also two plants one is bacopa and the other is lobelia. ok it is 24(L)x15(H)x12(W). i was wondering what would be a good set up. i want to get a beta so i wanted to know what could go with it i was thinking a pair of bolivian rams a few ghost shrimp and maybe a shoal of tetras. i would also greatly apprechiate any suggestions thank you very much conor x
i know all about cycling the tank. my question is would a beta and a pair of bolivian rams be ok in this tank with a should of tetras? any other suggestions for fish also

it’s great that you want to get a betta, it will certainly love it’s new home! i was going to get a female betta when i got my 105g, but i’m not getting it anymore.

sounds like you have a great setup here. and knowing about cycling the tank makes my job a whole lot easier :P your tank is the same size as mine, which also makes it easier.

what type of tetras were you thinking of?i have a small shoal of 5 rummynose tetras in my tank, and they look great hearding around. i don’t think the rams would be a good idea, due to their compatibility with bettas and the tank size, though i don’t know a whole lot about them, so it would ba a good idea to get a second opinion. the betta might eat the ghost shrimp, but there’s no harm in trying i guess. you could also put in a small shoal of neon tetras or cardinal tetras.

good luck, i hope your tank turns out as bright, colourful and lively as i think it will ;)
